Can changing exhaust lessen a cars performance?

i recently changed the mufflers on my 2011 v6 camaro from stock to thrush turbo mufflers. ever since, the car is less responsive when i push on the gas. what could be the problem? note: i also removed the resonator and replaced with straight pipes.
